Wheel of the Year Workshop

Wheel of the Year Workshop

The Wheel of the Year is a cyclical calendar used by many modern Pagans to mark the changing seasons and celebrate various festivals throughout the year. It consists of eight festivals, often called Sabbats, which are evenly spaced throughout the year. These celebrations reflect the natural cycle of the Earth and honour the shifts in nature.

The Wheel of the Year emphasises living in harmony with nature's cycles. It encourages mindfulness and reflection on the changes in the environment and within oneself. By celebrating these festivals, many Pagans feel a deeper connection to the Earth and the changing seasons, fostering a sense of community and shared traditions.

Whether one follows the Wheel of the Year as a spiritual practice or simply appreciates its connection to nature, it offers a meaningful way to celebrate the rhythms of life.

Join Lady Bijou for this beginners workshop and you’ll learn about the Sabbats (key pagan dates) as they relate to seasonal changes here in the Southern Hemisphere.
